Frequently Asked Questions About Wallpaper Quantities
How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
The number of wallpaper rolls required depends on your wall height, wall width, and the pattern repeat of the wallpaper. Our calculator makes it easy to work out the correct quantity before placing your order.
What is pattern repeat in wallpaper?
Pattern repeat refers to the vertical distance between where a wallpaper design starts repeating. When installing wallpaper with a repeat pattern, additional material may be needed so the design lines up correctly between strips. This is why pattern repeat is included in our wallpaper calculator.
You can find the pattern repeat measurement on each wallpaper product page.
Should I order extra wallpaper?
We often recommend ordering one additional roll where possible. This allows for pattern matching, trimming, and any offcuts during installation. Having an extra roll can also be helpful for future repairs if a section of wallpaper becomes damaged.
